Ellichman Vascular is proud to be a Veterans Choice Program approved site for vascular surgery. Because we have completed the full application and screening process, veterans in need of our services can contact us directly, rather than having to wait for a prior authorization (PA) through a VA facility.
We appreciate the sacrifices the men and women who serve in the United States Armed Forces go through to protect our nation. Sadly, it can be difficult for them to get the medical care they need exclusively through VA resources, whether it be because of wait times to see specialists or because of the distance or travel accommodations required for a veteran to visit his/her nearest VA facility.
Fortunately, the Department of Veterans Affairs created the Veterans Choice Program (VCP) to help these men and women get wider access to healthcare by allowing specially designated private providers like us to fill in the gaps.
